MFC Chapter One’s Fruitful CLS Season
Saint Henry Christian Life Seminar

Held at St. Henry Church in Bayonne, New Jersey, MFC Chapter 1 Unit 2 conducted the seasonal Christian Life Seminar (CLS), which invites couples and adults to learn more about their faith and our community. The seminar was held on October 7, 14, 22, and finishing on the 28th, the event left an indelible mark on all who attended and served.
The dedication on the final session, October 28, resonated with a profound sense of purpose, marking the culmination of a spiritual journey for those present. This CLS was a testament to the unity and strength within the community.
Drawing participants from both Units 1 and 2, the event served as a gathering that fostered a sense of communion and shared spirituality amongst participants and service team members alike. In addition, members from the Fall 2022 CLS stepped forward to serve for the first time, symbolizing their growth within the MFC community.
The CLS featured enlightening talks delivered by speakers from various chapters, enriching the experience with diverse perspectives and insights. Welcoming new members Abigail Pacifico and Maricel Javier into the fold, they now find themselves embraced in the household of Bro. Nat and Sis. Mayette Valbuena.
A heartfelt thank you resonates through the community to the service team and every member who contributed to the success of this CLS. Their dedication and support have undoubtedly sown seeds of spiritual growth that will continue to flourish within the MFC Chapter 1 community.
Union Christian Life Seminar

The Chapter 1 Chapter Household of Missionary Families of Christ New Jersey (MFC NJ) conducted a Christian Life Seminar (CLS) on November 10 and November 17, 2023, in Union, New Jersey. The Christian Life Seminar is an entry point to becoming a member of the MFC Community. This fast track CLS was conducted to accommodate the prospective participants who were not able to make it to the chapter’s CLS in October.
Before the CLS proper, the service team and participants shared a hearty meal since most came straight from work and have not had dinner yet. This gave way to a nice fellowship over good food. The CLS started with the first talk given by Bro. Winlove Edralin, the chapter servant, followed by another talk by Sis. Jong Edralin. Before the last talk of the night was given, there was a short break where the service team broke into a birthday song to greet one of the participants who celebrated her birthday that week. After partaking of the delicious cake, the group gathered again to listen to Bro. Jun Felix. After the three talks, there was a group discussion where many shared their heartwarming experiences and inspiring testimonies of God’s love and mercy. The night ended with a prayer with all hearts and stomachs filled up with great food for the soul and the body.
The group reconvened for the last day of the CLS where the CLS started with Bro. Kenn Fernandez, the area sections coordinator, leading a spirit-filled worship after giving a short exhortation. After the worship, Bro. Kenn proceeded to give the first talk of the evening. A prayer session followed where the presence of the Holy Spirit was truly felt. Sis. Lisa Veloso then gave the second talk while Bro. Dendee Veloso, the Unit 2 servant, gave the last talk of the CLS. It was indeed a night filled with God’s presence where all felt His overwhelming love.
The Chapter 1 Chapter Household of MFC NJ would like to thank the service team and, most especially, the participants who went out of their way to join the CLS. Welcome to the MFC family, Bro. Jethro and Sis. Jenny Reyes! Thank you for having the MFC community walk with you in your journey of faith. The whole community looks forward to sharing God’s blessings and sewing wonderful memories with you!
